Family stay but not ideal
The front desk staff was really helpful when I got to my room with the key issue. They always had to let me in with the master key, so you know the drill-waitin around. Another thing, the location is pretty good, lots of restaurants nearby I could hit up.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but still acceptable for what I got.

easy strolls to parks and local attractions await you
While exploring McAllen, I loved how easy it was to reach Fireman's Park, just 2 km away, where I enjoyed some lovely greenery and peaceful views, not to mention the delightful local eateries like Wingstop just a short walk at 500 meters for a tasty bite after my adventures.

Clean, spacious rooms, updated decor. No shampoo provided in the room. Service could improve with more staff during peak times.

Great location but needs some maintenance
I enjoyed my stay here primarily due to the excellent location, which made it easy to access local attractions and shopping. However, I faced issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the room, including a bathroom door that didn't close properly and some malfunctioning lights. Overall, while it served my needs, I wish there had been more attention to upkeep.

I had a great time with friends! We spent a night here after shopping at the outlets and hitting up some local attractions. The rooms were clean and spacious, really perfect for a group. Plus, it’s right close to stores and easy access to the highway. Fair rates too, around $70 for a double room. Definitely recommend it for quick trips!

The room size impresses with ample space, perfect for unwinding after a day of shopping. Air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable, a must-have in this climate, while the bathtub offers a nice option for a relaxing soak.
The motel needs some serious upkeep. we noticed holes in the walls that looked like remnants from previous TV mounts, which made things feel slightly shabby. The bathroom had a tub, but the functionality seemed compromised by age, and some areas showed signs of mildew. Additionally, the overall cleanliness felt rushed—like they could do a more thorough job if they tried. The nearby family with a dog added to the noise levels, keeping us up later than expected. A bit of isolation from loud neighbors would be greatly appreciated.

I truly appreciated the clean, spacious rooms and the updated decor, which felt more like a cozy retreat than a typical economy motel. The accessibility features made it convenient for my needs as a senior.
More accessible amenities for seniors would be helpful.

The friendly staff and clean exterior made a good impression upon arrival, however, the interiors could benefit from repairs and better upkeep. While the nearby stores were convenient, the room showed signs of neglect. Although there were no deposits and payment was straightforward, the overall experience was marred by maintenance issues and a lack of attention to detail.
